Installations allow for gestures to be marked in space, to respond to a larger "blank sheet of paper", and to shift the nature of the place chosen. It becomes a drawing more akin to dance because of the full body movement involved in making.

With my installation work I create spaces where an action has occured. The process I go through allows the viewer to see the action both in it's unfolding and it's retreat. I allow the piece to react to itself.
